We are proud of our many Holy Family sites, and we want to continue to invest in our physical infrastructure to maintain our strong community for future generations. We would like to make updates to the interior of Sacred Heart and St. Peter churches and installing a church bell system at St. Mary’s downtown church site. Because we have five parking lots to maintain, money could be used for repaving/ resurfacing the parking lots of all five church sites. Our parish organs at nearly all the churches in the parish need repair or restoration. The Love One Another Campaign will support our parish in achieving these desired upgrades that would normally not be included in our parish budget.
As we tend to see the amount of donations trending continuously downward for the parish, the endowment could be a very useful safety net that we could draw from, should the need arise, to keep our churches open in the future. Holy Family supports our Catholic community, Fond du Lac Area and beyond and we plan to for future generations to come. Our mission as a Holy Family Catholic community is to be empowered through the Holy Spirit to love God and to follow Jesus Christ through faith, worship and witness. We will use funds from the Love One Another campaign to create security for our Catholic community and continue to faithfully live out our Holy Family mission.
There is always a need to expand both Adult and Youth Faith Formation. Funds from the Love One Another campaign could be used to train parishioners, staff or clergy in areas important to the church or provide general education opportunities in classes, speakers, and welcoming events for both current and new members. We see it as a priority to create opportunities to celebrate in fellowship and promote our Holy Family Catholic Community.
