Love One Another Capital Campaign 2021

Holy Trinity, Newburg

Our Parish Roots

With its Gothic architecture, beautiful stained-glass windows, and a steeple standing over 130 feet tall, Holy Trinity Parish lies nestled in the rural village of Newburg, Wisconsin.

Originally named St. Marie in 1859, our parish’s name was changed to Holy Trinity and consecrated on December 8, 1861 by Bishop John Martin Henni, the first Bishop of the Milwaukee Diocese.

For the past 163 years Holy Trinity Parish has stood strong in good times and bad with our faith in God and love for one another. We are a welcoming parish blessed to have over 300 families coming together to worship our heavenly Father.

In response to God’s call for compassion and love, we prayerfully reach out to those in need and share our resources and gifts of treasure with others. We strive to live out our parish Mission Statement to Love God. Love others. Make Disciples. Welcoming all to a joyful life with Christ!

  BUILDING REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS -

Our church is over 163 years old and requires addressing years of deferred maintenance. Our parish needs to invest in our campus to make it a place of beauty that inspires, invites, and gives glory to God. Areas of planned renovations for the church include both interior and exterior modifications, along with improving safety measures.

Major interior attention will be given to improving the air quality by upgrading the HVAC system and installing new ceiling fans, improving lighting within the parish, installing railings, and replacing carpet. Outdoor improvements will focus on repairing the foundation, replacing downspouts, mending the tuck point to the church, and delivering preventative maintenance to our roof. Making these necessary upgrades will provide our parishioners and visitors a more comfortable and spiritual environment to focus their hearts and minds in prayer.

  SAFETY UPGRADES -

Our parish is also in need of necessary safety equipment to fulfill codes and protect the wellbeing of our parishioners. These needs include updated security systems, new alarms, smoke detectors, and lightning rods.
