Love One Another Capital Campaign 2021

St. Andrew, Delavan

Our Parish Roots:

From its humble beginning in 1848, St. Andrew has the largest membership of any Delavan Church, with over 800 registered families. We are proud of St. Andrew Church, which has been restored to its original splendor. The uniqueness of this church can be seen in its hand carved altars and beautiful stained-glass windows. Members, former members, visitors, and friends have contributed to support its renewal, in the same spirit as the builders of the original church, over 100 years ago. Much has been done in the same light to support our school.
St. Andrew Parish and School members believe the words of St. Andrew, our patron saint who said, “I have found the Messiah.” For the many who have worked in the service of God, our parish, and our school, this is where they have found the Messiah. We thank God for the blessings and the people of St. Andrew today and throughout our history. May we continue to preserve our heritage and grow in our faith.

  REFURBISH CHURCH INTERIOR - $242,400

St. Andrew Parish has been blessed with a beautiful worship space and grounds that has allowed our parish family to celebrate the Eucharist and continue God’s work in Delavan. Our parish community has designated upgrading the worship space as the top priority the church deserves. To continue to be good stewards we will use the money raised from the campaign to replace the cracked and missing tiles, worn-out carpeting, and repair, refinish, and replace pews and kneelers. These necessary renovations will further beautify our worship space for parishioners, visitors, and staff alike.

  PARISH MEETING SPACE - $200,000

Additional funds will be used to repurpose the unused brick garage between our church and school to create a fully accessible meeting space for the parish committees and programs. This new dedicated space will relieve the use of the rectory dining room and school building, providing greater school security and unencumbered living space for priests and pastors. The space will be available for bridal parties, grieving families, any additional parish needs, and will include an accessible bathroom.
