Love One Another Capital Campaign 2021

St. Margaret Mary, Milwaukee

Our Parish Roots:

Margaret Mary lived from 1647-1690. During her life she experienced four visions of Jesus Christ and worked endlessly to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart. St. Margaret Mary was canonized in 1920; her feast day is celebrated on October 16.

The parish began under our founding pastor, Father Raymond Vint, on June 1, 1955. The first church was completed in April 1957 and the school opened in September 1959. Our present church was completed in June 1977. Our current pastor is Father Patrick Nelson, SDS, who came to the parish in 2018. Under his leadership, we live out the mission to promote a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and to further the Love of Christ by our combined efforts in catechesis, sacrament, education and invitation. By the Love of Savior, we are sent to gather others to His Sacred Heart.
